MAY 2012 WILL BE A MONTH TO REMEMBER!

Attached is the first picture of our newly renovated aquatics facility. See the "before" on the bottom of this page. The facility looks like this thanks to you.

Thanks to your generous support, the photo voltaic solar water heating system continues to heat the pool every day at a fraction of the previous cost. In addition, you will see we have added state-of-the-art lighting fixtures and painted the facility to reflect more of the light. This will save taxpayers approx $3,000 per year and in a new "ulta savings" mode,  will push that savings even higher. People that attended its first opening day were stunned at the difference. Coach Sachse who was here at the facility's grand opening in 1978 stated it looks better today than when it was new.

We will have more before and after pictures soon, but wanted to say, the school board commended the $184K achieved. We beat our goal of $150K. The pool is the most energy-efficient and cost saving it has ever been, and due to your dedication to this effort--the pool is saved! More to come soon........
